Amethyst druze cluster (am1)

A very attractive piece of Uruguayan amethyst druze - tightly packed small crystals  which grew on the inside of a rock cavity. The crystals are all on one side, rough rock matrix on the back. The base of the rock has been cut flat for easy display. It stands 108mm tall and weighs 839g.
