Ammonite Douviliceras sp. am11

Found in Cretatceous deposits in the north east coast of Madagascar, about 120 million years old. The ammonite has been polishd to show to full advantage the calcite forming the fossil. Measuring 49mm across its widest part the specimen weighs 70gms.
