Ammonite Douviliceras sp. (am12)

Found in Cretatceous deposits in the north east coast of Madagascar, about 120 million years old. The ammonite has been polishd showing off to full advantage the calcite forming the fossil. Measuring 52mm across its widest part the specimen weighs 70gms.
